‘I turned up at Coventry and it was an interesting first few days,’ Adi Viveash tells The Phoenix. ‘A couple of days in, I said to the manager, "I'm not sure I can help you because I'm not sure I'm relatable.”’

It was an uncertain start to what would become seven success-laden years at the club. Viveash arrived as assistant to Mark Robins in 2017 and he quickly became integral to the rise of the Sky Blues up the leagues.

In the first of our huge two-part interview with Viveash, the 57-year-old tells us all about the path that led him to Coventry and how he helped guide the Sky Blues from the doldrums of League Two to within a penalty kick of the Premier League.
