When Richard Overson speaks about the Sky Blues, it comes from the heart.
A born-and-bred City fan, Overson became involved with the club after selling his business in 2016. In 2017, he was part of discussions with Gary Hoffman and Joe Elliott over buying Coventry City from Sisu. Those talks ultimately broke down but Overson remained an interested party.
While he was no longer looking to buy the Sky Blues, he did pump plenty of his own money into the club.
