Marko Marosi has one major regret from his time at Coventry City. He came back too soon.
It’s November 2020. The Sky Blues lead 1-0 in a Championship match against Cardiff City. We’re into added time when it happens.
Searching for an equaliser, Cardiff throw bodies into the box. Marosi bravely came and punched a ball into the box clear. He took a clattering in the process and was left with a collapsed cheekbone. Surgery followed. There were concerns about his eyesight.
For a month, he could do little more than sit on the sofa while waiting for the swelling around his head to subside.
