Promotion to the Premier League at the end of last season placed Coventry City in a completely different world when it came to player recruitment.

The Sky Blues not only needed to bring new faces into the club but also had to reassess the futures of those already at the CBS Arena. Doug King was quick to act, handing new deals to two of the stars of the promotion-winning side.

Bobby Thomas and Victor Torp both signed contract extensions, with their previous agreements due to expire in the summers of 2027 and 2028 respectively. Highly rated defender Callum Perry also penned a new deal. The club did not confirm the length of any of the extensions, but the agreements ensured that Thomas, Torp and Perry were tied down for the foreseeable future.
