The Sky Blues continued their pre-season preparations for the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Espanyol earlier this evening.
What did the outing at the CBS Arena teach us? Well, not a whole lot that we didn’t already know, to be honest.
The biggest takeaway was that, as things stand, Frank Lampard’s side look just about ready for the new season but could do with one or two more through the door before they travel to the Emirates. Oh, and a few faces returning from injury would be nice as well.
