Coventry City’s Boxing Day clash with Chelsea has been moved as TV coverage for the festival period has been announced.

The highly-anticipated fixture has been pushed back to Sunday 27 December with a 2pm kick off.

Fixtures against Brentford on 30 December and Ipswich on 6 January have not moved dates but have been selected for TV coverage, with kick offs at 7.30pm for both matches.

The lack of a Boxing Day fixture will be a cause of frustration for many, with Chelsea’s trip to the CBS one of only three Premier League fixtures not taking place on 26 December. Manchester United’s tie with Nottingham Forest and Arsenal’s trip to Crystal Palace will also take place on 27 December.
