After weeks of speculation, the deal is finally done. Carl Rushworth is a Coventry City player once again, and club legend Steve Ogrizovic has little doubt that the £22.5m man can make the step up to the Premier League.

The Rushworth saga ended earlier this week as last season's player of the year completed a permanent move after the Sky Blues agreed a deal with Brighton worth an initial £22.5m, potentially rising to £30m through add-ons.

Steve Ogrizovic, Coventry City’s record appearance maker and all-round goalkeeping legend, is relieved that the whole thing has finally been put to bed.
