There was disappointment for Oliver Dovin last night as injury prevented him from making his Leyton Orient debut.

Dovin, who joined the League One side on loan on deadline day, had been widely expected to start Orient’s Carabao Cup clash with Bradford.

The club had even posted a video on social media in which the Coventry City goalkeeper spoke of his excitement at the prospect of playing and meeting the Orient supporters.

However, when the teams were announced, Dovin’s name was absent from the matchday squad.
