Brighton remain reluctant to sell Carl Rushworth despite Coventry City's determination to bring last season's Player of the Year back to the CBS.
According to Brighton Base's Charlie Parker-Turner, Rushworth remains highly regarded internally and the uncertainty surrounding Bart Verbruggen is a major reason why negotiations have proved so complicated.
‘Rushworth is very highly-regarded by Brighton, which feels quite an unusual thing to say given the backdrop of his potential exit,’ Charlie Parker-Turner, of The Brighton Base, tells The Phoenix.
