This week, though, the three-man matchday team discovered they would not be returning as part of Coventry City’s matchday production team for the new Premier League season. It is a decision that has drawn plenty of condemnation on social media.
It must be said that those impacted are not just faceless behind-the-scenes bods. They are Stu, Royston and Paul – men with long-term affiliations with the club. They’ve been on exactly the same journey that all of us have been with the Sky Blues through the ups and downs.
