Coventry City have every chance of staying in the Premier League because Frank Lampard has restored belief around the club, according to former manager Ron Atkinson.
The 87-year-old, who enjoyed a 74-match spell as Sky Blues boss between 1995 and 1996, believes Frank Lampard has created the right atmosphere and tactical structure to give the club every chance of staying up.
‘They only have to finish three places above the bottom,’ Atkinson told The Phoenix. ‘Looking at the way Frank Lampard has had them set up, I think they can do it. They have a feelgood factor back around the club. I could see Coventry surviving.’
