As reported on The Phoenix last month, a Gus Hamer return to Coventry City this summer was inevitable. Now it has been all but confirmed.
The popular midfielder is set to rejoin the Sky Blues from Sheffield United for a cut-price transfer fee of £6m, with room for that to rise by a further £2m in add-ons.
Not bad for a player who Coventry sold to the Blades for £15m three years ago.
